Jamaican Blue Mountain
100% Wallenford Estate Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee

We roast up 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee for that special something to have around for you and your special guests.

Our certified Wallingford Estate coffee is grown in the heart of the Blue Mountain region. The original estate was founded in the late 1700’s by Dr. Colin McClarty. The estate was one of the first in Jamaica to plant coffee commercially.

This “Java of Kings” has been satisfying coffee connoisseurs around the globe for over two centuries. It is famous for its exquisite flavor, good acidity, clean taste, unusual sweetness, excellent body and intense aroma. It’s grown in the majestic Blue Mountain range in Jamaica, which is approximately 7,420 feet at the highest peak. The incredible mix of rich soil, good rainfall, cool and misty conditions and proper drainage combine with expert care and stringent quality control to grow the smoothest, richest and yet elegantly mild coffee in the world. The beans are of good size with light to medium body and acidity.

Taste the best the world has to offer. Don't miss out, get your order in today!

  Flavor Profile
Make no mistake, this is the world's finest coffee. The same coffee in fact that sells for $100/lb. in Tokyo. Roasted with the same famous hot air roasting technique that we are famous for, you know you'll get the ultimate in flavor and smoothness in every cup.

Coffee found its way to Jamaica when in 1728 Sir Nicholas Lawes, the then Governor of Jamaica, imported arabica seedlings from the island of Martinique. Coffee production expanded when government support and instruction in the art of cultivation, over time allowed the industry to develop and the quality and reputation to grow.

Coffee is grown in parishes. Its history is church related, much like in England where people in a certain area were of one parish. Jamaican High Mountain is not from the same Blue Mountain region. It is grown at a lower elevation and is certified but not in high demand. The lower elevation results in a less flavorful bean.

True Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee is hand picked October through March and wet processed. It is supervised at every stage of pulping, drying, hulling, sorting and grading. The Coffee Board must certify all stages. The resulting coffee is as consistent as it is exquisite.
